Brief description: Several planes of existence are linked together by reality anchors whose job is to keep all the worlds running in various ways. When a Death-figure who works as a college professor starts finding a bunch of students with weird abilities, something that usually develops where the planes thin and bleed into each other, showing up in his class, questions start to form about whether this is coincidence or something bigger. The questions do not stop him from adopting all of them, though.
Also: Sometime after that, a magical explosion mixes with the remains of a previous death-cult's attempt to make zombies, and the dead start walking, memories wiped and magical concentrations doing strange things to their senses of self.
